Crossover platforms feature a modular, flexible design that adapts to your specific requirements—for example, crossovers can have two different stair heights. They are freestanding and non-penetrating, suitable for all roof types, and have bases (or slip sheets) to protect the roof’s surface. Standard widths are 2 ft., and a maximum height of 10 ft. is recommended; however, a custom-engineered platform can be designed and delivered if you have extraordinary challenges.

All FlexDecks fixed crossovers feature anti-slip treads that are self-draining and non-bounce to provide a sure-footed walking surface. They are load-tested to guarantee stability and safety during use. OSHA-compliant guardrails are fitted to stairs and walkway platforms, providing added slip-and-fall protection.

Crossover steps and platform decks are constructed from glass-reinforced nylon or anodized aluminum. Frames and guardrails are built from galvanized steel or aluminum. These components provide strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. Nylon treads are fire-rated to Class HB of UL94 and will not present a fire risk.

FlexDecks fixed crossovers’ modular design allows each platform to be adapted to your specific requirements without the typical costs associated with custom-made. Installation is easy using standard tools—no welding is necessary.
